Tennessee Whiskers is a 100% volunteer and foster based cat rescue organization based in Murfreesboro, TN, focused on saving stray cats in our community. With many cumulative years of experience in cat rescue, our passionate team understands the urgent need for rescues in the area. We have long envisioned creating a new rescue to provide a safe haven for these vulnerable animals. Join us in our mission to give every cat the love and care they deserve!
Community in need
Stray cats are becoming a significant concern in Middle Tennessee, with more friendly strays appearing daily, along with those in need of medical attention due to injuries or illness. The rapid growth of the stray cat population highlights the urgent need for community action and support.
How we help
We are committed to offering medical care and socializing these furry companions to help them become adoptable and find their forever homes. Furthermore, we focus on managing the increasing cat population through responsible spaying and neutering. We are a foster based rescue and have a partnership with Catfeine Cat Cafe where you can meet some of our available cats.
