WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?  We are a volunteer and foster based rescue.  We do not have a physical location for intake.  You can meet some of our adoptable cats being fostered at Catfeine Cat Café located at 517 Cason Lane in Murfreesboro, TN. 

• Please note Catfeine cannot accept cats from the public.

HOW DO I SURRENDER OR GET HELP WITH A CAT? ​  As a new small rescue, our priority is helping stray cats in dangerous situations.   You can submit our REQUEST HELP form online, and if we can help we will get back to you within 48 hours.   These requests are given priority over rehoming situations.  For help with Rehoming you can also SEARCH PETFINDER for all of the local rescue that may be able to help.  

​HOW CAN I DONATE/VOLUNTEER/FOSTER?  We appreciate your support!  All of the ways you can get involved or donate supplies/money can be found on our LINKTREE.

WHAT IS  YOUR ADOPTION FEE AND WHAT DOES THAT INCLUDE?  We ask for a minimum $150 donation as the adoption fee to help recoup some of the vetting cost (approximately $250) we incurred for each cat.  All Tennessee Whiskers cats are fully vetted including FVRCP vaccines, Rabies, Spay/Neuter,  Dewormed , Flea Treatment and Combo Tested.​

HOW TO I APPLY TO ADOPT:   Our cats are listed on the ADOPT page of our website.

• If they are fostered at Catfeine Cat Cafe' you will need to book a visit to meet them there their team will discuss the adoption process after your meet them

• Cats in private foster care will require an application and interview prior to scheduling a meet and greet.  ​

WHAT IS THE ADOPTION PROCESS?  Once you apply, a member of our team will contact you within 48 hours if your application is being considered.  Please understand, we sometimes get multiple applications for the same cat.  Our goal is to find the home that is the best fit for the cat based on their individual needs. 

• We require the following steps to adopt:​

  • Application​

  • In Person meet and greet (private foster home or at Catfeine)

  • Home Video Tour submission

  • Vet records of any existing pets. Possibly a Vet Reference of prior pets.

  • Renters must show rental agreement showing they are allowed to have pets
